"Dakos" from the island of Crete

"Dakos" from the island of Crete

Ingredients

  • 1 Dry Barley Rusk
  • ¼ Feta cheese
  • 1 Big Tomato and 2 small tomatoes
  • A little salt
  • Oregano
  • Caper
  • 65gr. Gaea Pitted Greek Kalamata Olives in brine 315ml
  • Gaea Greek Authentic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500ml

Method

  • After sinking the barley rusks in the water we place them on a plate
  • We grade the tomatoes on the barley rusks and we drizzle a little salt
  • We add as mush cheese as we like with our hands
  • We continue by adding the olives, oregano and caper
  • Drizzling with Olive Oil will be the final step

Tip

  • You can replace feta cheese with other traditional Greek ones, such as "Xynomizithra"
