A traditional simple salad recipe from Crete. Juicy tomato, Greek feta and Kalamata Olives, distributed all over barley rusks, or the popular to all of us “Dakos”
Ingredients
1 Dry Barley Rusk
¼ Feta cheese
1 Big Tomato and 2 small tomatoes
A little salt
Oregano
Caper
65gr. Gaea Pitted Greek Kalamata Olives in brine 315ml
Gaea Greek Authentic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500ml

Method
After sinking the barley rusks in the water we place them on a plate
We grade the tomatoes on the barley rusks and we drizzle a little salt
We add as mush cheese as we like with our hands
We continue by adding the olives, oregano and caper
Drizzling with Olive Oil will be the final step
Tip
You can replace feta cheese with other traditional Greek ones, such as "Xynomizithra"
