At the Heart of Greek Olive Oil Production

Located in Agrinio, Greece, GAEA’s production facility brings together advanced technology, rigorous quality standards, and decades of expertise in Greek extra virgin olive oil and olive production.

Set on a 15,000 m² site just outside the center of Agrinio, the 6,500 m² facility is designed to carefully handle, store, bottle, and pack GAEA olive oils, Greek olives, spreads, sauces, and olive snacks.

Advanced Olive Oil & Olive Production

Four fully automated production lines support the GAEA range:

  • Olive oil bottling: up to 6,000 bottles per hour

  • Olive packing: up to 7,000 jars per hour

  • Spreads and sauces: up to 3,500 jars per hour

  • Olive snack pouches: up to 3,000 packs per hour

This combination of specialized production and packaging technology allows GAEA to protect product quality while efficiently serving markets around the world.

Protecting Freshness and Quality

Our 3,000 m² warehouse includes a dedicated 200 m² refrigerated area and specialized stainless-steel storage for olive oil.

Twelve 30-ton tanks and three 100-ton silos help protect the olive oil under carefully controlled storage conditions before bottling, preserving its freshness, quality, and sensory characteristics.

Certified Food Safety and Quality

GAEA’s Agrinio facility operates according to internationally recognized food safety and quality standards, including:

  • BRC

  • IFS

  • ISO 22000:2018

  • DIO organic certification

These standards support rigorous controls throughout production, storage, packaging, and traceability.

Sustainability in Production

Sustainability is integrated into the way our facility operates, from on-site compacting and recycling initiatives to ongoing work to understand and reduce the environmental footprint of our products and packaging.

GAEA has worked with myclimate since 2005 on product carbon footprint analysis and climate initiatives, making the company an early pioneer in lower-impact Greek olive oil production.
